I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18 NIV)
TRAGEDY TO TRIUMPH
DALLAS — For Helena Lewis-Norman, the turmoil she’s endured in recent years, she wouldn’t wish for it to transpire in the life of her worst enemy.
“At some point in life, something will happen to shatter your dreams, your faith, and yes, your whole life,” Lewis-Norman told Making Headline News this week, recalling the tumultuous, disheartening developments surrounding the deaths of her daughter and grandchild. “Tragedy, hurt, and brokenness cross all socioeconomic boundaries, leaving us feeling hopeless.”
Lewis-Norman, in fact, can greatly attest to these encounters, as she vividly details in her newly-produced book entitled, “Shattered Pieces: From Broken2Blessed,” an emotionally-driven, tear-jerking written work that was officially released in mid-April.
BOOK SIGNING ALERT!!!
A native of nearby Fort Worth, Lewis-Norman will host a book signing for “Shattered Pieces: From Broken2Blessed,” her 176-page featured written document that addresses an assortment of pertinent topics, most notably what this Christian-based writer refers to as tragedy, hurt, and brokenness, all of which cross virtually all socioeconomic boundaries.
A book signing and brunch celebration for this sought-after book will take on Saturday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST at the Hampton Inn and Suites, located at 6555 Park Brook in Forest Hill, Texas.
As Lewis-Norman eloquently explained, it was God Who strategically assigned her to compose an awe-inspiring book whereby she recalls in great details how He anchored her spiritually during what arguably was the darkest season of her life.
“It doesn’t matter who you are, somewhere along your journey, life will deal you a hand you don’t know how to play,” Lewis-Norman said. “At that moment, your entire life hinges upon your decision.”
Within minutes after offering a detailed synopsis of her new book, this devout woman of faith then poses a few rather riveting, thought-provoking questions to masses to ponder, particularly as it pertains to their respective season in the wilderness.
“Will you react and continue to do the same things you’ve always done such as avoid painful times in your life? Or will you respond by doing something different and deal with the broken pieces in your life?” Lewis-Norman said. “Things that have shattered in your life, which left you broken, all had a purpose to prepare you for your new next.”

For Lewis-Norman, because of her bend-but-don’t break faith, coupled with her spiritually resiliency as one of God’s beloved spokespersons, she can dauntless profess that she’s ceremoniously crossed over into her “new next.”
Yep. To God be the glory.
“There is life after loss of a love one, divorce — which feels like a death — transition or change of employment or financial crisis,” Lewis-Norman said.
As expected, the feedback for Lewis-Norman’s “Shattered Pieces: From Broken2Blessed” has been overwhelmingly favorable.
“Excellent feedback of transparent moments shared in the book,” Lewis-Norman said.
Interestingly, while putting the wraps on her newly-produced project, Lewis-Norman recalls how God had given her specific instructions as a strategic, effective way to minister to His people.
“While finalizing the last chapters of the book, I was ignited as the purpose pusher to help push people who have been paralyzed by their pain and stagnated in disappointment, which caused them to doubt who they are in God,” Lewis-Norman said.
In addition, Lewis-Norman told Making Headline News that she’s devising ways to construct a stage play for “Shattered Pieces: From Broken2Blessed.”
