MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES RAESHAL SOLOMON
Raeshal Solomon is convinced that it is never too early to teach youngsters about the pros and cons of money.
“Parents need to understand that teaching their children about money can be easy and fun,” Solomon told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “They also need to know the importance of starting now.”
It is in large part because of these notable economic concepts that have greatly fueled Solomon’s desire to compose a book she senses will aid children mightily, particularly as it pertains to making wise monetary decisions as they mature in age.
A Nashville-area author, Solomon is the mastermind behind the book entitled, “The 25 – 25 Strategies To Teach Your Child About Money,” her fourth published written document that was officially released on July 28.
A book that is also known as “The 25,” Solomon’s latest project is a parent guide, of sorts, to teaching your children about money, courtesy of a book that has every day strategies, many of which any parent can use to make a complex subject like money fun and easy to talk about.
A book she began assembling approximately two months ago, Solomon — who technically has written somewhere in the neighborhood of two dozen books — needed just six days to put the finishing touches on “The 25 – 25 Strategies To Teach Your Child About Money.”

“I wrote the first 4,800 words in only two days,” Solomon said. “After working with my editor, I was able to finalize the book in four more days.”
Surely, it’s safe to assume that it was 10 days well spent for this thriving, progressive writer, who also authored these published books: “Shop, Shop, Shop,” “Tim’s Red Rudy,” and “Gale’s Day of Giving.”
When asked what is the divine message she’s sending to her reading audience through her latest book, Solomon said, “My other books are tools to help parents, but they are children’s books focused on financial literacy as well.”
As expected, the feedback since the release of “The 25” has been mostly favorable for this native of Johns Island, South Carolina.
“People love what I have created,” Solomon said. “They find my books to be helpful.”

Having recently wrapped up a book tour, during which former NFL player Darius A. Robinson had the pleasure of reading several of Solomon’s books to a gallery of elementary students, Solomon emphasized that the purpose for which God has created her as an author is to teach children about money while they are young.
“We can raise more children who are givers and who are grateful,” Solomon said. “I honestly write what God places in my heart. I never know what He will give me next.”
Besides other forthcoming books, Solomon recently established a kids’ podcast called, “PodKash Kids,” which is geared largely toward what she describes as kid entrepreneurs.
